The SAP Business Planning and consolidation application accelerates planning and consolidated financial reporting processes. It supports planning, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities with management and legal consolidation functionality in a single application. BPC is enabling top-down and bottoms-up budgeting that enables and encourages collaboration on the plans and tracks versions and changes. Financial and management reporting (including exception reports), financial and operational analysis and multidimensional analysis are all highlights of the self-service reporting features of the application. Consolidation functionality helps meet legal and management consolidation and reporting requirements including the generation of clear, transparent financial statements, cash flows and balance sheets.
